The Lordsmere Suite at Saddleworth Golf Club gives you a proper venue — with views across the Saddleworth moors, food prepared by the team behind The Waggon Inn and Salt, and a team who want your event to go as well as you're hoping it will.

A space that sets the tone

The Lordsmere Suite seats between 90 and 100 guests depending on your layout — with the 1904 Bar & Lounge available alongside for arrivals, drinks, and informal mingling. The suite leads directly out onto the patio, and the views across the valley give your guests something to talk about before the food even arrives.
There's free parking on site and the venue is easy to reach from across Saddleworth, Oldham, and the surrounding area.

Food that's actually worth remembering

The catering is handled by the team behind The Waggon Inn and Salt in Uppermill — so you already know the standard. We offer a range of menu formats to suit your event, your guests, and your budget.
Choose from a formal three-course sit-down dinner, a hot fork buffet, finger buffet, hog roast, or a more informal sop supper. We'll help you pick the right format and build the menu around you.
Gluten free and dairy free options are available. All allergen information is provided on request.

Booking & availability

Dates can be provisionally held for up to 2 weeks. A non-refundable deposit is required on confirmation, with the final balance due one month before your event following a final details meeting.
Room hire: Room hire charges apply for smaller events. If your booking includes a minimum of 50 three-course meals or 80 buffet guests, no room hire charge applies.

Entertainment

Your event, your way
You're welcome to arrange your own entertainment — DJs, live music, magicians, photo booths, and more. We'll need a copy of public liability insurance for all suppliers, and PAT testing certificates for anyone using electrical equipment.
Smoke machines, dry ice, fireworks, and bouncy castles are not permitted on site. Sparklers are welcome on the patio only.
