The 1904 is the kind of place that's easy to make a habit of. A warm, comfortable lounge with a well-stocked bar — and because we're part of Saddleworth Golf Club, the setting is a little hard to beat. Floor-to-ceiling views over the course and the valley beyond, and enough space to actually relax.

1904 MenuSunday lunch done properly
On the last Sunday of every month between 1pm – 6pm, we serve a proper sit-down Sunday lunch. Two courses or three featuring roasts, seasonal starters, and desserts worth saving room for.
Roast rump of Hereford beef, slow braised shoulder of lamb, and a full vegetarian option alongside. Everything served with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, and all the trimmings. Kids are very welcome and they have a dedicated children's menu.
